The Libraries Course Materials list format is flexible to meet a variety of course needs. Typically, the materials are organized chronologically by the course calendar; however, items can be arranged by theme, course project or assignment, etc.
Individual items can be organized within sections (by course module or calendar week, for example), and you are able to easily move, edit, hide, and delete both sections and individual items within your list.
1. To move an item in your list, move your mouse toward the left side of the item you'd like to move. A dotted drag button will appear. Click and drag the item to where you'd like it to go.
2. To edit an item in your list, click the three dots [ ... ] toward the right-hand side of the item. Then, click "Edit item." Use Item Details to edit a variety of fields, including title, author etc. Item Actions will allow you to change the visibility dates for your students and Links & availability will allow you to upload a file to the item. Be sure to click "Save" when you're done editing.
3. To delete an item from your list, click the three dots [ ... ] toward the right-hand side of the item. Then, click "Delete item" at the bottom of the menu.
1. To move a section in your list, click the carrot to the right of your section heading name to collapse the section. Then, move your mouse toward the left side of the section heading. A green drag button will appear. Click and drag the section to where you'd like it to go.
2. To edit a section in your list, click the three dots [ ... ] toward the right-hand side of the section heading. You may choose Edit section to change the title, description, start/end date, there is also a Delete Section option to remove a section from your list.
