Log into your course in Canvas.
Go to the Settings menu and then the Navigation tab
Enable the Libraries Course Materials link (may be at the bottom of your list) and make sure to select Save.
Position the Libraries Course Materials item where you want it in your course navigation by dragging and dropping and select Save again.
Navigate to the Libraries Course Materials link within your course.
After you have added the Resource Organizer tool to your Canvas course, the next step is to create one (or more) Resource Organizers for your course.
1. Click the Libraries Course Materials link in the course navigation menu.
2. Click the 'Create a new list from scratch' or 'Create list from an existing list' option (if available). You may also choose to upload a syllabus or list of materials and the library will create a list for you:
Give your List a descriptive title in the Title field and click Create.
You can also add a description in the Description field. (Adding a description can help you keep your lists organized if you have multiple Resource Organizers for multiple courses.) Click next.
4. Select a template.
The following options are available in the Create sections step:
All options can be edited/ customized later, as needed. Click 'Create list' when appropriate section style is chosen.
Then add materials, which is covered in the Add Content section.
