Melissa manages content and maintenance of the Libraries primary website. She coordinates content development and integration with managers of the ILS, ILL, and vendor systems that make up the Libraries online presence. Melissa can help you update existing information, create & edit new content or web pages, and consult with you on ways to develop content for specific audiences and purposes.

Nancy manages and runs usability studies to better understand our user needs. These studies help identify barriers to information access. Information gathered from these studies guide improvements to the Libraries website and spaces.
With their expertise, Melissa and Nancy collaborate to develop the structure of the website following University Web Developer Network (WDN) and University Communication guidelines and best practices. They test, create and refine content, design, features, and navigation.
Lead time for projects: varies with the project; involve them as soon as you are aware of new projects or problems

Regina oversees event and program planning in the Libraries; maintains a schedule of major library events; coordinates room reservations; and manages the Adele Hall Learning Commons. Regina is available to assist with event planning, and can provide usage stats for the Adele Hall Learning Commons.
How UX can help with events:
Leadtime: Events often require the support of multiple UX members;the sooner we are involved, the more help we can provide. Major library events are discussed on a yearly basis. Smaller events can require anywhere from 4 weeks to several months depending on the activity.

Joanie and Erin partner to create text and graphics for promotion campaigns. Campaigns can include announcements, brochures, posters, invitations, articles, social media, and more. The amount and type of promotion will vary depending on the event, audience, size, and deadlines.
Lead time: Varies from a few days to weeks. 3-4 months for library events with many components; 6-8 months for major events coordinated with other units

Print projects such as wayfinding, brochures, informational cards, table tents, posters, signs, infographic etc.
Digital projects such as web visuals, social media graphics, digital slides for library's display screens.
Videography: She can help by create a video highlighting a service, upcoming event, or collection.
Lead time: Design time plus (3 days for copying; 10 days for printing)
