Communication, Events, Graphic Design & Website Content at the University Libraries: Overview

How to Promote Your Projects, Research, Services, and People and Meet Deadlines

Strategic Communications

The reorganization of the University Libraries has restructured the former User Experience team into several other units. As individuals we still support the University Libraries in creating partnerships, engaging users, promoting the Libraries experts, services, collections, and events.

The Strategic Communications Group seeks to share:

  • communicate a clear, professional image of the Libraries consistent with the university mission and brand

  • collaborate with faculty, staff, students, colleagues and consortia to support the work of the Libraries

  •  share stories about the work and research being done by University Libraries faculty and staff

Successful projects require communication and organization. Review the process below when starting a project with us:

  • Fill out the submit-a-project form.
  • To help us stay organized, we'll add your project to our Basecamp 3 project management system.
  • A team member will contact you and the stakeholders if your project requires additional discussion and planning. Major or complex library-wide projects may be forwarded to the Dean or SAT for approval before work begins.
