Libraries IT coordinates the "checking out" of audio/visual equipment used for presentations, instruction and other events. To ensure the equipment is available for your event, a minimum of five days prior to your event--submit a Libraries IT Footprints ticket with the following information: 

  • Date(s) and time(s) of the event
  • Exact location of the event
  • Equipment needed
  • Any training that will be needed on how to use the equipment
  • For events with many presenters (e.g. national events)--will someone from Libraries IT be needed to attend and assist with technology?

  • Mobile LCD carts with computer
  • Mobile LCD cart with HDMI 
  • Presentation laptops
  • Sound system 
  • Microphone stand 
  • Presentation clicker

Event Supplies

University Libraries has the following materials available for use in events and programs: 

Event supplies stored in LLS 221A & LLS 221C

  • Sign holders (8 1/2x11 & 11x17)
  • Reusable "Reserved for a special event" signs
  • Folding chairs/chair carts
  • Stanchions 
  • Projector/Screen
  • Mobile LCD carts with computer
  • Mobile LCD cart with HDMI 
  • Sound system 
  • Microphone stand 
  • Presentation clicker

  • Catering Cart 
  • Podium
  • Skirted, rolling trash can
  • Rolling coat rack 
  • 3 cocktail tables and tablecloths 
  • Display easels (table top & standing)
  • Libraries tablecloths

Refreshment supplies stored in Compton Room:

Requesting Event Space

University Wide Food Policy & Approved Caterers

Due to health safety concerns, all food served on campus must be furnished by a University of Nebraska-Lincoln contracted food caterer or from the list of approved food providers (maintained by Risk Management and the Nebraska Unions).
