SciENcv is "a researcher profile system for all individuals who apply for, receive or are associated with research investments from federal agencies" (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sciencv/). For more information about the advantages of using SciENcv, visit the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI).
Researchers applying to NIH are encouraged to use SciENcv to prepare their biosketches as of 1 June 2020. The NSF requires the use of SciENcv as of 23 October 2023; the NSF-fillable PDF will no longer be accepted.
This online guide provides links to NCBI resources, as well as step-by-step instructions, for the use of SciENcv in biosketch preparation.
We thank NCBI for providing the information and resources used in this guide (My NCBI Help [Internet]. Bethesda (MD): National Center for Biotechnology Information (US); 2005-. SciENcv. 2013 Aug 12 [Updated 14 March 2023]).
