The faculty, staff, and students of University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Department of Entomology study a wide range of topics, including: field crop, horticultural, urban, and veterinary entomology; biological control and insect pest management; insect ecology, genetics, and systematics; insecticide/environmental toxicology; plant-insect interactions and plant resistance to insects; and beneficial insects.
Undergraduate programs
The Department offers the Insect Science major, with two options: Science or IPM & Pest Science.
The Department offers paths leading to the Masters and the Ph.D. degrees, including a distance Masters program.
