About Biochemistry

Biochemistry is a diverse field with faculty working in a wide variety of fields including: Bioinformatics, Bioremediation, Cancer and Disease, Cellular Signaling, Forensics, Metabolism, Molecular Genetics, Plant Sciences, Problem Based Learning, Protein Structure and Function,and  Redox Biology.

This resource guide provides an overview of databases, resources, and societies of interest in the field of biochemistry. The UNL Libraries subscribes to and purchases a large amount of resources to support learning and research in the biochemistry; however, a large number of external resources support learning and research are published open access in whole or in part by government agencies, other universities, professional societies, and more both nationally and internationally. External sources we don't pay for or support are included here for your convenience and include the phrase (External Resource) in the title.
