University Libraries' Virtual Learning Tutorials


The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries Virtual Learning Program is a multifaceted approach to integrating online information literacy instruction within the curricula of all university programs. The program incorporates a variety of digital tools and resources in the development of critical information literacy skills among students and is aligned with the ACRL's Standards for Distance Learning Library ServiceFramework for Information Literacy for Higher Education, and all other appropriate professional standards and principles. 

This page contains the following three Library Fundamentals modules:

  • Setting Up Accounts
  • Orientation to the Libraries
  • Introduction to Research

Each of these modules is comprised of individual tutorials that can be completed as part of a course or independently. 

For Faculty

Each of the individual tutorials found in these modules can be customized for your specific courses or programs. Please contact your Subject Specialist Librarian.
