Information and data needs permeate contemporary research. Research Partnerships has responsibility for engaging with the advanced information and data needs of UNL research communities in support of transformative research and knowledge mobilization. Collectively, the department has responsibility for the design and delivery of a range of advanced information/data programs and services.
The Research & Learning division is responsible for the strategic direction and oversight of UNL Libraries’ efforts to advance student learning, development, and success; anticipate, respond to, and engage in the contemporary needs of the University’s research communities; and advance antiracism and inclusive excellence integrally in these areas of the Libraries’ work. Research & Learning includes the departments of Public & Information Services, Research Partnerships, and Teaching Partnerships, and has a broad mandate to coordinate related activities across the organization. Each department has specialization and focus, and together take an integrative and collaborative approach to co-creating solutions to information problems.
