Is a friendly interface for searching across the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries' collections. It acts more like a Web search featuring ways to quickly and effectively narrow your results by keywords, library location, language, and date. Encore searches multiple databases and library collections through one search interface using Keyword searching.

When beginning to use and access the wealth of materials, print & electronic, the University Libraries provide, there are a couple of actions that are recommended for University of Nebraska-Lincoln Faculty, Staff & Students.

My Library Account: Using this you will be able to renew items, keep an inventory of what you have checked out, and see if you have overdue items, fines or fees. Your account access is also what you will use to access license restricted University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries resources when off campus. Delivery / Interlibrary Loan Is available to University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty, staff and students, as well as other authorized users. It includes: Free scanning and e-delivery of most articles and book chapters (compliments of the University  Libraries); 24 hour delivery of most items between University Libraries Locations; Delivery time within 7 business days for most items from other libraries; and Pickup available at locations across both campuses. This service delivers materials to you electronically, or print items to your chosen library location, & will save you time, while expanding the resources available to you. Create an Interlibrary Loan Account

Find This for Me or Get it for Me may be used whenever the icon or the text is visible near a citation or catalog record. It automatically populates the form used to Request delivery of items or Interlibrary Loan, as appropriate.


Is a web-based bibliographic reference manager that: helps create the bibliographies for papers, formats citations or references, and allows sharing of references with others.

CITI Program
Is a subscription service providing research ethics education to all members of the research community. To participate fully, learners must be affiliated with a CITI participating organization. University of Nebraska-Lincoln requires all key project personnel, including investigators, students and other project staff, who conduct research with human participants, tissue samples or data to complete a mandatory training program before University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s IRB can approve a protocol.
