To report an issue with electronic resources linked from UNL Libraries' catalog or Databases A-Z list, patrons should contact ask-a-question@unl.edu. Libraries personnel can use the internal problem reporting form.
22 November 2024: The MRI-Simmons database will be undergoing scheduled maintenance and unavailable for up to 15 hours between 9 pm CT on Friday, November 22 and 2 pm CT Saturday, November 23.
30 November 2024: The platform hosting ACLS Humanities Ebook, University of Michigan Ebook Collection, and Big Ten Open Books will be undergoing scheduled maintenance and unavailable for up to 9 hours beginning 10 pm CT, Saturday, November 30.
Ongoing: Users may see links to various online resources returning a blank page, or various HTTP errors. These issues are typically due to interference from cookies and other files cached in the user’s browser, and can often be resolved by clearing the browser’s history, or using a different browser, and then retrying the link. Clearing only the cookies specifically for the website affected may also be an effective solution. See the Libraries FAQ on this subject.
December 2024: RefWorks will no longer support the Write-N-Cite (WnC) writing tool add-in for Microsoft Word. All users should upgrade to the RefWorks Citation Manger (RCM) add-in.
6 January 2025: The EBSCOhost platform will be migrated to a new interface. A preview of the updated platform, featuring the same databases available via the old interface, is now available. See EBSCO's Quick Start Guide for more information about using the new platform.
4 October 2024: Updates to content on the Checkpoint platform will break previously created links and delete existing annotations to: Internal Revenue Code and Code History; State statutes content for Arkansas, Florida, and Indiana. Annotations can be printed or exported from personal account History or Folders, or from any affected document, before October 4.
9 September 2024: The U.S. Political & Legal History database is now available on the HeinOnline platform, including content content highlighting each state's unique legal, social, geographic, and economic history.
