Course Description: This class will survey the three major research traditions (quantitative, qualitative, and rhetorical) often used in communication studies research and introduce students to developing unique and research provoking projects based on interests and career goals.
The readings, concepts, and methods introduced in this course will serve as foundations for upper level communication courses, and will assist students, specifically, in the department’s capstone course (COMM 495).
