Full-Text Article Access

Introduction

Finding the full text version of articles can be tricky, but we have tools to make it easier! If you search for scholarly publications from off-campus or like using tools like Google Scholar, you can use a browser plug-in to help locate the full text of the articles you need.

The best part? These plug-ins are FREE (and some can connect to UNL Libraries subscriptions too)!

If you don't use one of these tools always start your research from the University Libraries pages to ensure you are authenticated for access to subscribed databases and other materials. There are several ways to access the full-text of articles and depending on where and how you search you might use a combination.

Issues connecting to UNL Libraries resources off campus? Visit our troubleshooting FAQ.

This Guide explores four free browser plug-ins that assist in finding the full text of scholarly articles.
