Join Scholarly Communications Librarian, Sue Gardner, and 40-year publishing veteran and Coordinator of Scholarly Communications, Paul Royster, to learn the ins and outs of publishing. Topics include where to publish or distribute your work, how to navigate publishing agreements, and how to maintain your authors' rights.

About the speakers:

Sue GardnerSue Gardner is Scholarly Communications Librarian. She works to build the online Digital Commons repository for UNL academic and research works and consults on questions related to publishing and using teaching materials in the classroom and online. She can discuss issues with you such as copyright, licensing, open access, editing, co-authorship, submitting your work for publication, and promoting your work.

Paul roysterPaul Royster manages the online Digital Commons repository for UNL academic and research works and consults on questions of copyright. A veteran of 40+ years in publishing with Yale and Nebraska university presses, Barron’s Educational, and the Library of America, since 2005 he has been Coordinator of Scholarly Communications for the UNL Libraries.
