Beginning Your Research in History (Fall 2020): Books

A guide to beginning your research in history using only electronic resources, with physical material access shut down in 2020.

E-Books

Books are one of the main ways scholars communicate information about a topic in history. If you are working on an assignment for a history course, books are likely to be important. However, during COVID-19 closures, we don't have the same access to all of the same books we typically would, but there are still a variety of ways to access full-length books for your research. In addition, for any books that the Libraries owns in hard copy, and which are not available electronically, you may use the Libraries' paging/delivery service to request print materials and pick them up from a library service desk.
