Welcome to the Natural Resources Subject Guide

This guide is intended to assist students, faculty, staff and other University of Nebraska-Lincoln affiliates locate resources for completing their projects in the natural resource sciences. When used in this guide, the term "database" simply refers to the online web resources storing the accumulated data (research articles, digital books, etc), that you wish to access.  University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries provide university faculty, students and staff access to a large number of databases containing tremendous numbers of publications and research you can access from your computer or other digital device. 

If you experience access issues, become confused about how to navigate a certain database, have other questions about completing your research,  or suggestions related to this guide, please contact one of us utilizing the information under the profile pictures on the right side of the screen.  Contact information is available on every page of this guide.  Many resources are interdisciplinary, so different subject headings may have additional items of interest regardless of the field you are studying.  This guide will grow and evolve, so keep checking back.
