The Association of Students of the University of Nebraska (ASUN) generously provides Academic Passes to NYTimes.com, the New York Times’ digital edition. An Academic Pass gives UNL students, faculty, and staff full access to the extensive breaking news, world news, and multimedia of The New York Times without the need for an individual subscription. This digital access replaces the free print copies of the New York Times that were previously available at newsstands across campus.
Access is free for currently-enrolled UNL students, faculty, and staff, but each person must create an individual account using an official UNL email address (e.g., @unl.edu, @huskers.unl.edu).
Accessing NYTimes.com
Once you have activated your Academic Pass, you can access the NYTimes.com from any computer by going to http://nytimes.com and logging in with your UNL Academic Pass credentials (your UNL email address and the password you created).
