Government documents are information resources produced by local, state, and federal governments. They can include the texts of laws, regulations, statistics, scientific and technical information, maps, and detailed analyses of exceptionally wide and sophisticated topics ranging from agriculture to zoology.
The University Libraries is a regional depository library. Regional depository libraries (regional libraries) have agreed to receive and retain at least one copy of all publications made available to the FDLP by the Government Publishing Office (GPO) and to retain those items in perpetuity (with some exceptions).
