Kwame Dawes, poet, professor, & editor of Prairie Schooner, leads a reading with University of Nebraska–Lincoln poets Hope Wabuke, Zach Mueller, Angel Garcia, Adrienne Christian, & Jaime Brunton.

April 5 - Aphrodite's Daughters: Three Modernist Poets of the Harlem Renaissance

Poetry reading of three women activist-writers profiled in Aphrodite's Daughters: Three Modernist Poets of the Harlem Renaissance by Maureen Honey, Professor of English. Readers include Kwakiutl Dreher, Amelia Montes, and Hope Wabuke.

April 12 - Biljana D. Obradovic Reading

Biljana D. Obradovic is a Serbian-American poet and translator and an alum of the UNL Creative Writing Program.

April 12 - Poetry Reading with Twyla Hansen

Earthstock and the UNL Women’s Center welcome UNL alumna Twyla M. Hansen, Nebraska State Poet to share her poetry inspired by the natural world of the Great Plains. 

April 18 - Poetry Reading with Grace Bayer and Hope Wabuke

April 19 - A Sense of Place

Poetry reading by Professor Patrick T. Randolph and students from the Programs in English as a Second Language, all featuring place as a theme.

Poetry Reading by Jeff Alessandrelli & Trey Moody, alumni of the Creative Writing Program of the English Department.
