How to find, download and access e-book collections available through University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries.

Finding eBooks

You can find eBooks in two ways:

Search the library catalog as you would for any print book. Then select items identified as 'Electronic Resource'.

Use the links provided in the eBook collection page of this LibGuide.

Using University of Nebraska-Lincoln eBooks off campus

When using these resources off campus you will be prompted to enter your last name and NU ID number to verify you are either employed by University of Nebraska-Lincoln or a student at University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Enter your last name and NU ID number as it appears on your N Card then click the Submit icon and use the resource as usual.

Reading eBooks on your eReader.

To view PDF and EPUB documents on your eReader you need Adobe® Digital Editions (ADE)

Follow these steps:

1.Download ADE software [free] onto your computer.
2.Download the eBook to your computer.
3.During install, choose to "authorize" your computer with a free Adobe ID.
4.Sync the computer with your e-device.
5.Transfer the eBook from your computer to your e-device.
